Where has the month gone?

Where the heck has this month gone! I cannot believe that next week is Christmas already! Before the holiday season "officially started" I had so many fun activities that I would really have liked to do as a family for the season, and POOF all of the sudden the month has come and gone.

This year I have been extra busy with planning my mothers 50th Birthday party and Lindsey's Sweet Sixteen party, but still for some reason it just doesnt really feel like Christmas this year. It is actually quite sad.

After tomorrow the kids are home for 2 WHOLE weeks, what am I going to do with 4 kids home from school for 2 weeks! I have been talking some time about getting a membership to the YMCA and I think this week might just be the time to do it! We are going to have to find some extra activities so that we don't all go crazy silly!

Tomorrow is Kaedin and Carsons holiday parties. I will be attending Kaedins in the morning but opted to not do Carsons this year because they are going sledding.....and with how dang cold it has been.....well, plain and simple I am just a baby! So is it bad for me to say? I really don't like going to these holiday parties at school! I go for my children and love seeing them interact, but I really do not like going! Kaedin has a couple of kids in his class that are......well to put it lightly "out of control"! And these mothers.....WOW! LOL! Really, I will be going with the best intentions and a smile on my face. Tis the season after all! :)
